Your Stress Result

22 / 42
Moderate

Interpretation

Your stress level over the past week was clearly elevated. Your body and mind are signalling that tension is currently taking up a lot of space. Take these signals seriously and deliberately create moments of relief.

Low Mood (Depression scale)

Captures signs of low mood, lack of drive, and reduced enjoyment over the past week.

8 / 42Normal

Your mood over the past week was within the normal range. Joy, drive, and confidence seem readily accessible to you.

Anxiety

Captures physical arousal, nervousness, and feelings of anxiety over the past week.

6 / 42Normal

Your inner calm over the past week was within the normal range. Physical tension and feelings of anxiety currently seem to affect you very little.

Stress & Tension

Captures tension, irritability, and difficulty relaxing over the past week.

22 / 42Moderate

Your answers show clearly elevated tension. Irritability and difficulty switching off are typical signals – now is a good time to actively reduce your load.

About the scale: each area has 7 questions scored 0–3 points. Following the official DASS convention, the sum (max. 21) is doubled – so the internationally published reference bands on the 0–42 scale apply.

What is the DASS-21?

The DASS-21 (Depression Anxiety Stress Scales) is an internationally established, scientifically validated short questionnaire by Lovibond & Lovibond (1995). With 21 questions, it measures how strained you were over the past week in the areas of low mood, anxiety, and stress. Scores are doubled to be comparable with the full-length version (DASS-42).

Important Notice: The DASS-21 is a screening tool for self-reflection and does not provide a diagnosis. Your results show how strained you felt over the past week – they do not indicate whether an illness is present.
